More Information: According to his Navy record, William was born 16 June 1834 although his Baptism record and his death record states he was born in 1832. He was 4ft tall with fair hair, blue eyes, of fair complexion with smallpox marks. I cannot find another William John Natt born in England and Wales around 1832 so this may be his death. He was missing from the 1871, 1881 and 1891 Census and his wife remarried in 1888. Was he recorded as 'Missing', allowing his wife to remarry? Did he die at sea before 1888? |
